Judith Miller

Obituary of Judith Stormy Miller

Born November 21, 1941, passed December 27, 2022.

Daughter of John and Elsie Roybal, wife to Dr. Leon Miller, and mother of Darryl Miller. Judith was one of eight children. Sisters Kathie, Betsy, Lillian and Wilma, and brothers Harvey, John and Steven. She was also a loving niece/godmother to Kelli, grandmother to Darryl Jr. and Jeremiah, and aunt to many.

Stormy grew up in Santa Fe, NM, however if asked, she would say she grew up in “El Hickey” (El Guique, NM). A creative storyteller at heart, El Hickey wasn’t the only endearing nickname that was woven into her life. The nickname Stormy was born simply because Judith liked it, however it proved to suit her fiery and creative personality well. This was also demonstrated in her original cooking style. Anyone who had the pleasure can attest, the more spices the better. Judith’s real passion was her work. She worked hard and played harder. She loved socializing and spending time with friends. The family is particularly grateful to her close friend Bea Castellano for the kindness she has shown during this difficult time.

Services will be held at Riverside Funeral Home in Santa Fe on March 10, 2023 from 3pm-5pm.
