Obituary of Gabriel David Sanchez

Gabriel David Sanchez, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, peacefully passed into eternity. The family extends an invitation to join them in praying the Holy Rosary on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 10:15 a.m, followed by the celebration of the Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. The funeral services will be celebrated at St Anne's Catholic Church, located at 1400 Arenal Road SW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87105.

Gabriel was a devout and faithful Catholic and witnessed his faith in Christ with a genuine spirit of love, laughter, and a passion for music. Gabriel was a very intelligent person, attending Georgetown University, and later obtaining a degree in Communications and Journalism from the University of New Mexico. He enjoyed playing basketball, golf, and tennis. He was very musically inclined playing the piano, violin, and accordion. He was a very talented singer, and brought joy to others when listening to him sing.

Gabriel's Legacy will continue in the lives of those still remaining including his children Ciara and Elijah, his precious grandson Cristiano, his father Fernando, siblings: Father James Sanchez, Elizabeth, Yolanda, Bernadette and husband Andrew, Adriano and wife Star, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his loving mother Virginia and his brother John. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you offer a mass for Gabriel in his honor.
