Obituary of Alice Arguello

Alice Arguello, 92 a resident of Las Vegas, NM, was called home on April 19, 2023.

Alice was born April 17, 1931, in San Ignacio, NM to Leopoldo Gallegos Sr. and Simonita Gallegos.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Filadelfio Arguello; sister Mary Romero and brothers Leopoldo Gallegos Jr; Richard “Tony” Gallegos and other family members.

Alice is survived by her sisters Rose Rael and husband Jake and Luisa “Sadie” Garcia, also surviving her is her daughter Grace Armijo and husband Manuel and her son Ernest Arguello. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christopher Armijo; Timothy Olivas and fiancé Ida Herrera and great grand-daughter Nikole Olivas and many other nieces and nephews.

Also surviving her are her step grandchildren Jason Archuelta and Cefalie; Regina Armijo and Ronald and Veronica Armijo and Israel also 14 step great grandchildren.

Cremation has already taken place.

Rosary will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at 5:00pm at the Immaculate Conception Church. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 01, 2023, at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church and internment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM.
