Obituary of Edward Leroy Arguello

Edward Leroy Arguello went home to Heaven on May 6, 2023 in Albuquerque, NM.

Edward Leroy was preceded in death by his father and mother, Joe and Trinidad Arguello. Also, by his precious granddaughter, Mercedes Roque, who he is now rejoicing with in Heaven.

Edward Leroy graduated high school and lived in Albuquerque, NM. Edward Leroy married Debbie Allen on October, 20, 1977. On February 5, 1980 Edward Leroy was blessed with the arrival of his daughter, Alisha Adele; spouse Juan Arreguin. Edward Leroy was step-dad to Vanessa, and spouse Danny Lucero, and Daniel, spouse Yolanda. He was a lifelong diesel mechanic and worked at LRC and Cummins during his career. Edward Leroy started his career when he was 17 years old at Cummins and worked his way up the ladder. He even worked at a place called Ben Franklin's, whatever that is.. He absolutely adored his family, and food. He had a hunger for life, literally. Edward Leroy taught his young granddaughter, Veronica, to say "mmmm, Whiskey" but she could only say "mmmm, Wicky." Edward Leroy was spirited and humorous while packing half an inch of peanut butter on his bread. He loved his dogs, Rosie and Shelby. In his younger days, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was later in life so proud of his new truck.

Prior to his departure from this world, he spent his time at LRC Trucking with his friends and coworkers. Even on what would become his last day on this earth, he wanted to go to work.

Edward Leroy is survived by his immediate loving grandchildren, Isaiah, Juan and Lexy, Bear and Aslan, Veronica, Savannah, and also by family and friends. Edward Leroy's favorite thing was spoiling his great grandchildren, Dahlia and Natalie.

He will be missed, but we will treasure our memories.

Services will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Albuquerque Revival Church, 124 Texas St. NE, at 2:00 PM. Reception will follow service at the church.
