Obituary of Linda E. Hughes

Linda E. Hughes passed away on 18 May, 2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

 Linda Hughes was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to Louis and Nellie Smith on 27 January 1942. She graduated Arkansas High School in 1960. After graduating Dukes Beauty School, she had a career as a hair stylist that spanned 35 years with clients that were loyal to her the entire time. She loved gardening and growing flowers. She enjoyed traveling, visiting Spain and Germany and many U.S. states.

 Linda is preceded in death by her husband, former Texarkana Arkansas fire chief Michael Hughes; her brother, Louis E. Smith; and sisters Martha Ford and Nelta Anderson. Linda is survived by her two sons David Ivey and Damon Ivey, two step sons Terry Hughes and Greg Hughes, two grandchildren Davis Bentley and Emily Ivey, and two great grandchildren Isabelle Strange and Lillybet Bayless.
