Obituary of Adele Stuhlmann

Adele Nemeth Stuhlmann, born December 3, 1934 in Sharon, PA, passed away at her home in Placitas, New Mexico on May 30, 2023. Adele graduated Sharon High School in 1952, and Sharon General Hospital School of Nursing in June 1955.  She married John Conrad William Stuhlmann on March 15, 1958 at First Presbyterian Church in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Adele was preceded in death by her parents Mary (Strba) and Ignacz “Nick” Nemeth, husband John Conrad Stuhlmann, son John Conrad Stuhlmann, sisters Helen Vanusek, Margaret Demchak, Jane Huddleston, Belle Nemeth, Mary Morris, and Irene Ando.

She is survived by her sister Violet Thomas of Canfield, Ohio, daughter Jaycee and husband Gary McCreary of Placitas, NM, daughter-in-law Debbie Stuhlmann of Las Vegas, NV, son Jeffrey and wife Theresa Stuhlmann of Placitas, NM, grandson John Stuhlmann of Las Vegas, NV, granddaughter Amber Stuhlmann of Clearwater, FL, and granddaughter Ashley Stuhlmann of Palm Desert, CA.

”I was fortunate to study nursing in China, Russia, Kenya, India, Thailand, and the Philippines.  I witnessed excellent nursing in all of these countries, and I met many new friends.  John and I also traveled together throughout the world.”

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Placitas Community Center at PO Box 40, Bernalillo, NM 87004.

A graveside service will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery, located at 501 N. Guadalupe St. Santa Fe, NM on Tuesday June 20, 2023 at 10:30am. Upon arrival, please line up your vehicle in lane 2 to be directed to the site of the service.
