Obituary of Leslie Hall
Leslie Hall died June 2, 2023 at age 82. He grew up near Washington, D.C. and moved to Albuquerque to attend UNM, where he studied Anthropology and Art History. He started and ran businesses in picture framing and book selling, but his primary love was art. He was a lifelong painter and ceramic sculptor and always enjoyed developing new techniques and experimenting with new materials.
Those who knew his work know that fish, water and skies were favorite themes. He loved the natural world and read widely about this planet, its creatures and the cosmos. His wide range of interests and wonderful sense of humor touched us all and enlivened our conversations and our lives. We are grateful for having him in our lives. He will be sorely missed.
Leslie is survived by his wife Ellen, his sisters Ann (Silas) and Rosemary (Mike), and his brother Dan (Donna).
No services are planned at this time.
