Obituary of Mary Ellen Reynolds

Mary Ellen Reynolds passed away peacefully at home on June 12th at the age of 93.  Mary was born in Lebanon, MO on October 30, 1929.  At an early age she moved to Albuquerque NM and grew up there.  In 1941 she moved to Whittier, CA; back to NM in 1943; graduating from Albuquerque HS.  After attending Business College she began working at Sandia Base for the Department of Defense, Nuclear Agency, where she remained for 40 years until retirement. Mary rose through the administration to a final position as Editor of Technical Publications for Science and Engineering.  Her big project each year was to edit and publish a huge compilation of all the research and articles produced by the scientists. Besides tennis, Mary loved to garden, read and travel the world. Mary always said how fortunate she was to travel to so many countries and have adventures with her friends. She is survived by her nephews Brad (Onalee), Scott (Alicia), Lee (Harriet) and 3 great nieces.  Mary is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jack Reynolds.  On her behalf we would like to thank all her caregivers and Hospice of New Mexico.  There will be a Celebration of Life in early July.
