Obituary of Guillermo F. Lovato

Guillermo F. Lovato, born July 7, 1943, in Fort Sumner, NM passed away on July 13, 2023, in Albuquerque, NM.
 

He served 2 years in the US Army as an SP4 from 1965 to 1967.

Where he was awarded: A Good Conduct Medal, A National Defense Medal, and as a Sharp

Shooter in Rifle.
 

He loved playing music with his brothers and his friend in their band as a base guitar player and singer. Which he continued to sing at

events and venues such as The American Legion Post 100 until recent. He was self-employed and Owned Lovato's Masonary Inc.

business until retirement.


He was proceeded in death by his parents: Pedro and Juanita Lovato; siblings: Cisto, Vicente, Leondro Lovato and Angelina Lovato Ortero; and son: Guillermo (Pancho) Lovato.
 

He is survived by his daughters: Sandra F. Lovato Anzures, Wendy Veronica Herndon and husband Joseph Herndon, grandchildren:

Dominic Anzures and wife Kendyl, Ruben Anzures and wife Irene, Monique Baca and husband Auton Baca. Nicholas Herndon, Lorena

Herndon, Jessica Malone and husband Kyle Malone; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Antonio Cosme Lovato; longtime partner, Cecelia

Crespin and her grandson, Joseph Crespin; and many longtime friends and associates.

Rosary will take place Friday, August 11, 2023. at 9:30AM at San Felipe de Neri Church, 2005 N Plaza St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104.

Mass will follow at 10:00AM. Burial at Santa Fe National Cemetery will take place at 2:00PM.
