Obituary of Terry Archuleta

Terry J Archuleta was born October 14, 1951 in Aurora Colorado.  He remained. there for a short time, before he and his family moved to Amarillo TX , later to Taos, Nm,

Terry, was an avid train enthusiast.  He loved building and collecting model trains.  Life size or model, that was his hearts desire so he worked on model trains until he couldn’t use his fingers and his eyes got bad. 

Terry has been employed by various trucking companies for over the past 45 years.  Major companies included Cal Maine Trucking, Swift Transportation (Walmart Distribution Center), High Incidence, Aragon Trucking, Star Transport and  Colomex Transportation.

He also worked locally for Gonzales Trucking, Pete’s Landscape and finally Star Paving.  He really enjoyed his jobs and took pride in the industry.  Trucking was a large part of his life.  He retired in January 2023 after 46 years of hauling from coast to coast and locally.

Terry leaves to mourn a devoted friend of 25 years Alfreda Fain and her family, Kimberly Archuleta, Son, Matthew J. Archuleta (Nita).  Grandchildren, Bentley Justin Archuleta , and McKenzie Faith Archuleta, nieces, Aimee Lynn, Archuleta, Leslie Archuleta and Tammy Faye Archuleta, nephew, Tim Skyler  Archuleta , Sister in Law Debbie Archuleta and a host of cousins, and friends.
