Obituary of Jacqueline Norwood

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacqueline “Jackie” Norwood, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, on July 20, 2023. Born in Albuquerque, NM on March 1, 1955, Jackie was a strong-willed and willful woman with an enormous heart. Always willing to lend a hand and very caring, she became beacon of determination and love for many that knew her throughout her life.

Jackie is survived by her devoted daughter, Jenevieve Tomlinson, and beloved grandson, Kylan Perdue. Her memory will also be forever held by her siblings Joylinda & Tim Cowan of Enumclaw, WA, Jill & Jeff Fanning of San Diego, CA, and John Norwood of Albuquerque, NM. She joins in eternal rest with her parents W.B. "William" & Joyce Norwood, as well as her sister Jeanette Baca.

While words cannot fully express the depth of our sorrow, we find comfort in the memories we shared and the legacy Jackie leaves behind. Her unconditional love, warmth, and indomitable spirit were felt by everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

To all those who have offered their support and shared in our grief, we extend our sincere gratitude. Your presence, both in spirit and in person, has been a solace during these trying times.

A celebration of life in Jackie’s honor will be held at Crossroads for Women, 235 Elm Street N.E., Albuquerque, NM 87102 on August 18th at 10am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to Crossroads in Jackie’s name. Through these contributions, her legacy of compassion and kindness will continue to touch the lives of many.
