Obituary of Shakira Louise Diggs

Loving and amazing daughter, Shakira Louise Diggs, 36, passed away after a hard fought battle with cancer. She is survived by her mother, Olive Diggs, her father, Michael Diggs and her brother, Michael Diggs Jr., along with many aunts, cousins and friends who cherished her dearly and will continue to do so.

Sunset: August 19th, 2023

Shakira graduated from Eldorado High School in 2005. She went on to have a successful career at the hospital, her last position being an OR coordinator at UNMH. She loved her job and her work family.

She was a passionate supporter of love for everyone and had so much more love to give. Gone too soon, the world will not be the same without her beautiful light. She will be deeply missed.

We will be laying her sweet soul to rest on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 at 11am
