Obituary of Amy Darean Jaramillo - Martinez

Amy Darean Jaramillo Martinez, 62, of Rio Chama, NM, went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2023. Amy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister whose love for the Lord was first in her life. She shared this love with all who knew her. Amy will be remembered for her friendship, kindness, and willingness to help others.

Amy is survived by her husband Manuel, her sons Joshua and David; her mother Irene Jaramillo, Brothers Lorenzo and Diego (Darlene); In-Laws Joe and Florence Martinez, Brothers in-law Joe and Chris (Susan); numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Amy is preceded in death by her father Diego A. Jaramillo Jr., maternal Grandfather Reynel Velasquez, Grandmother Senaida Velasquez; paternal Grandparents Diego A. and Amada Jaramillo; and numerous other relatives.

Honorary Pallbearers are her nephews and nieces. 

Services will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in El Rito, New Mexico. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am with the final resting place at Guaje Pines Cemetery at 2:30 pm in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
