Obituary of Alfonso Trujillo

Alfonso Evaristo Trujillo, age 81, a resident of Chimayo, NM went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, September 29, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Sarita and Manuel Trujillo; his brother Leroy Trujillo; and sister Manuelita Valdez. Alfonso is survived by his beloved wife and caregiver, Selina Trujillo; his daughter Christa, husband Luis Hernandez and grandson Samuel; his son Emmanuel, wife Alicia Trujillo and grandchildren Makayla, Isaiah, and Lillyanna; siblings Tina Sargent; Valentín Trujillo, wife Ignacita; and godson, Leroy Trujillo. Alfonso was also loved like a brother by his two sister-in-laws and three brother-in-laws. Alfonso had numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who were very special to him. Alfonso’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all those who have called, visited, or offered words of encouragement during this difficult time. A special thanks is also extended to the staff of Presbyterian Home Health, Presbyterian Hospice, and to Bruce Shaeffer and Pamela Reynolds for the excellent care they provided to Alfonso. A celebration of life service will be held at 11am on Friday, October 13^th at Truth Ministries Calvary Chapel (18496 Hwy. 84/285 Espanola, NM 87532) with Pastor Dion Cordova officiating.
