Obituary of Richard E Romero

Richard (RIck) Romero, 65 passed away in Albuquerque, NM on September 29, 2023.  Rick was born on April 29, 1958 in Mountainair, NM.

 Rick is preceded in death by his parents Gabe and Rosita Romero from Cuba. NM.  Rick is survived by his son Richard Romero Jr. (Anna), and his two grandsons Cameron Ricky and Noah Sammy.  He is also survived by his brothers: Severo, Faustin, Larry (Delores), Paul (Tami), Gabe Jr., and  sisters:  Liz Randolph (Rob) and Kathy Whiteley (Gary).  And numerous nieces and nephews. 

Everyone who knew Rick knew he was always up for a party and some good music.  He was extremely loving, gentle, kind, patient, generous, grateful, and always thought of others before himself.  Rick was an avid 49ers fan and loved spending time with his family.  Rick will truly be missed. 

A memorial (Rosary) service will be held at Riverside Funeral home in Albuquerque, NM on October 19, 2023 at 2 pm. A reception to follow.  A graveside service will be held in Cuba, NM at the Catholic Cemetery on Friday. October 20, 2023 at 11 a.m.
