Obituary of Linda Michelle Boggess-Gallegos

On Thursday September 14, 2023, Linda Machelle Boggess, loving mother of three children, passed away at age 54.

Linda was born April 27, 1969, to Homer and Betty Joe Boggess. She became a CYFD certified caretaker in January 1998. She had her first child, Josh, on May 4, 1986, followed by Zachary on November 7, 1989, and then Felisha on November 13, 1992. She was an amazing full-time mother, who was there for her children night and day.

Linda loved animals. She was always rescuing abandoned or abused animals of all kinds. She was also helping with children that were going through a hard time. She would bring them in, care for them, and all-around help raise them and get them in a better place in their lives. She would treat them as her own. She was a loving, compassionate woman with a HUGE heart. She was a mother to many more than just her own children. She was a great friend, mother, aunt, and grandmother.

Linda was preceded in death by her father Homer and mother Betty Joe. She is survived by her three children, Josh, Zachary, and Felisha, and her grandchildren, Trystan, Lilly, Mary, and Daisy, as well as her sister Pam and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was taken far too early and will be more deeply missed than she will ever know.

Her service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Riverside Funeral Home in Albuquerque, NM.
