Adam Aringdale

Obituary of Adam Morris Aringdale

Adam Morris Aringdale, 54, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on October 1, 2023.

Born October 26, 1968, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, to parents Kenneth Aringdale Sr. and Marie Cunningham Miera.

Adam spent his early years in Santa Fe, and moved to Albuquerque when he was nine years old. After graduating from West Mesa High School, he joined the Army and was predominantly stationed in Germany. He was deployed to the middle east during Desert Shield.

For the past 10 years, Adam worked at the VA Hospital in Albuquerque as an EMS Housekeeping Supervisor. He loved his job and took great pride in it. His laughter and sense of humor among his coworkers is what will be remembered most. As one person put it, Adam’s laughter would drift up the elevator shaft. You always knew when Adam was in the building.

Adam is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Aringdale Sr. Marie Cunningham Miera, and Alex Miera.

He will be greatly missed by his siblings: Cherie (Phil) Haubold, Shelly Aringdale, Terry (Vince) Armas, Ken Aringdale Jr., Dallas (Debbi) Aringdale, Royanne (Mike) Lollis, Kim Aringdale, Eric Aringdale, and Lisa (Joe) Lamb.

Nieces and nephews: Donna, Joseph, Nathan, Michael, Raymond, Shawn, Matthew, Katelyn, and Zoey; and 11 great nieces and nephews.

Adam shared a special bond with his brother Eric, they were never far apart; and great niece Arissa who views Adam as a second father.

Final resting place service will be held on November 3, 2023, at 12:30 p.m., at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
