Obituary of Domingo Silviano Blea
Domingo Silviano Blea,
On the morning of October 23, 2023, Domingo Silviano Blea passed away at age 77. He was born on August 11, 1946 in Santa Rosa, New Mexico to Marcelino Blea and Carmen Garcia Blea. He also had 4 siblings Josie, Alfonso, Martin, Genaro and Joaquin.
In 1962 he joined the United States Marine Corp and served in Vietnam. During his service, he earned several medals, including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with device, Good Conduct Medal, Presidential Unit Citation and many others. He displayed remarkable bravery and received numerous accolades for his commitment to protecting our freedom. His medals stand as symbols of his sacrifice and dedication to a cause greater than himself.
May he rest in peace, and may his legacy of service and love continue to inspire us all. Domingo, you will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
Domingo was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelino Blea and Carmen Garcia Blea, his siblings Alfonso, Martin, Genaro and Joaquin, compadre Raul Guerrero, brother in law Daniel Crespin and his son Richard Diaz.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sister Josie Blea and her children Antionette, Chris and his wife Kelly, Anna and her son Danny, his wife, Clorinda Blea and daughter Gabriella, his children: Greg Martinez, Richard Diaz, Karen Blea Pacheco and husband Charlie Pacheco, Gena Blea, Isabel Blea, Sheila and husband Arturo Ledezma. He also left behind his grandchildren, Greg Jr., Aubri, Antonio, Isaiah, Anjelica, Vanessa, Ricardo, Vanessa Ann and husband Francisco Sr., Nicole, Jason and Jessica and his great grandchildren, Aspen, Angelina, Francisco Jr., Nathaniel, Jeremiyah, Jedidiyah and Ally’Ana.
Special thank you to Annie Guerrero, Pedro Guerrero, Rosie Jaramillo-Crespin, Jeanette Larranaga and Pedro Guerrero Jr for always being there for us! We will never forget how you've been by our side, in his needs and in ours.
A funeral service will be held at the Veteran’s Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM on November 20th 2023 At 1:00 pm
