Obituary of Richard A Quintana

Richard A Quintana, 79, of Las Vegas New Mexico passed into everlasting life on Friday, October 6, 2023 at his home with his Loving wife and family by his side.

Richard was born on September 7, 1944 to Helen Quintana of Springer, New Mexico.

Richard was married to Margaret(Chavez)Quintana on June 8, 1968. They were married for 55 years.

Richard retired from the City of Raton as a heavy machinery/dozer operator.

Lifelong hobbies were fishing and reminiscing with close family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife Margaret (Chavez)Quintana; son Thomas Quintana (Karen); grandchildren Nathanael Quintana, Kimberly Quintana and Samantha Quintana; great grandson Logan; brother's Lorenzo Quintana (Anita), Henry Quintana (Loraine) and Carlos Quintana. Numerous extended family, nephews, nieces & cousin's.

Richard is preceded in death by his mother Helen Quintana; brother's Louie Quintana and Freddie Quintana.

Graveside service will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 at 10 am. at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Gallegos Road, Las Vegas, New Mexico.
