Obituary of Barbara Ann Garcia

Barbara Ann Garcia, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and dear friend passed away peacefully on October 10, 2023. She lived a full life made rich with long lasting friendships and her loving family. Barbara accomplished many things; earning a Masters Degree in Psychology and owning her own business. In her later years Barbara took an interest in the arts, teaching herself how to draw and paint. Her ambition was admirable.
Barbara was a loving aunt making many happy memories with her nieces such as baking cookies, hosting for the holidays and taking walks along Balboa pier and Newport Beach. She loved to shop tirelessly and watch the afternoon soap operas. We will forever cherish these memories. Barbara will be remembered for her caring nature and zest for life; she was loved dearly.  

Barbara is survived by her brother Albert Edward Spisak Jr. and wife Julie Johnson, her aunt Beatrice Montoya Romero, her nieces Danika Nicole Spisak and Tessia Shawn Spisak, Danika’s husband Jonas Cote, great nephews Shane Ryder Cote and Myles Alan Cote, and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Ann Feliz Montoya Spisak Brown, Albert Edward Spisak Sr., Step-father Ralph Wayne Brown and her grandparents Natividad Mares Montoya, Manuel Jose Montoya, Anna Vargo Spisak and Andrew J Spisak. 

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held with family and friends.
