Obituary of Evelyn D. Lichtenberger

Evelyn D. Lichtenberger, 94 of Albuquerque, NM passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 31^st, 2023 at her home.

Born in Decatur, Illinois to Lloyd E. and Anna E. King. She was married to Wallace G. Lichtenberger in 1949 and moved to Albuquerque, NM where they stayed until moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1963. Then in 1964, she and her husband and boys Gregory and Daniel Lichtenberger moved to Mt. Zion, Illinois from 1964-1969. There, she owned Dairy King Restaurant and Donut Shop.

She and the family moved in 1969 to present back to Albuquerque, NM where she owned Evelyn’s Donut Shop on San Pedro until going to work at Blakes Lotaburger with her husband in 1973. She remained at Blakes until retirement as a Regional Manager.

Evelyn is survived by her sons Daniel and his wife Venus; 5 grandchildren; Michael, Leigh Ann, Damon, Trent and Travis; 10 great grandchildren; one great grandchild with one on the way.
