Obituary of Timothy James McGuckin

Timothy James McGuckin, 65, passed away November 3, 2023. Timothy was born on June 23, 1958, in Albuquerque, NM. Timothy James “Big Timber” McGuckin, as his grandad nicked name Time while working summers on his cattle ranch in the Gila Forest near Silver City, NM. His dad also nicked named Tim “Tow Head” for his blond hair.

Tim passed away after a long illness. He was the youngest of two brothers, Mike, and Donald of Albuquerque, and three sisters, Kathleen Whicker of Bakersfield, CA, Ginger Vierra of Rio Rancho, NM, and Mary McGuckin Morrison of Albuquerque, NM.

Tim lived in Albuquerque, with his long-time girlfriend Darlene and his beloved pup “Baby”.

Tim passed the time watching TV, his favorite show was Bonaza. We will always remember Tim’s ability to forgive while feeling pain, making final phone calls to his family telling us he has love for us before he passed away.
