Obituary of Christina Lynn Smith

Christina Lynn Smith, 59, passed away peacefully in her home on Nov. 15, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. Christina’s infinite love for everyone and everything will be treasured. She’s remembered by family and friends for her loyalty, heart of gold, humor, and kindness.  She was married to her extraordinary husband and soul mate, Kelly for 42 years. She adored her precious “Hito” Brian and the love in her heart for him was immeasurable.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Jo Ellen Harrison; her stepfather, Neil Harrison; her father, Thomas Goodwin; her stepmother, Pauline Goodwin; brother-in-law, Glen Smith; and nephew Steven Echols.

Christina is survived by her husband of 42 years, Kelly Smith; her son Brian Smith (Devon); mother-in-law, Margaret Smith; father-in-law Gilbert Smith; sisters, Deborah Baca, Cynthia Goodwin; brother, Thomas Goodwin; sister-in-law Andrea Bermudez (Frederick); step siblings Joe Richter (Janet), Les Richter (Becky), Donnie Richter (Carol), Ronnie Richter, Patty Adame (Roland), Johnnie Richter; nephews Victor Baca (Anne), Douglas Wilson; niece Melissa White (John); and many other relatives, friends and co-hearts who will carry her in their hearts forever.

She enjoyed camping, fishing and nature with her family and dog, Dixie. She often traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada, making countless memories on every journey, with everyone she encountered. After working at Citi Bank, she spread her LUV as a devoted employee of Southwest Airlines for the past 12 years.

Her spirit touched the lives of so many people, and her presence was truly a blessing. She was such a beautiful, special, genuine, kind, positive, humorous, and remarkable being.  Memories of Christina will be held forever in the hearts of all who were honored to know her.
