Obituary of Alfonso Roy Pineda

Pineda, Alfonso R., age 65, was born in Dixon, NM. Our beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother went home peacefully to be with the Lord Sunday, December 31, 2006. He is survived by his loving wife, Lita Pineda of 46 years; daughter, Christine Pineda; sons Roy Pineda, Alex Atencio, Junior Pineda, Raymond Pineda, Sammy Pineda, David Pineda and Michael; 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sister Emma and husband Alfonso Atencio of Velarde, NM; brother Jose Pineda of Utah; and brother Ernest Pineda; sister Sarah Gutierrez; and brother Sammy Pineda - all of Albuquerque, NM; as well as many nieces and nephews. Alfonso was preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Edubijen Pineda; brother Levi Pineda; and sister Lydia Pineda. A viewing will be held Sunday, January 7th from 11am until 4:30pm at Riverside Funeral Home with a prayer service to follow at 7pm. A funeral service will be held at 10am Monday, January 8th at Riverside with burial to follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. We will miss you dad and you'll always be in our hearts.
