Obituary of Estella Morales Sanchez

Estella Morales Sanchez, aged 83, of El Paso, TX, passed away on April 8, 2024, in Albuquerque, NM. Estella was born on October 21, 1941. Estella is survived by her husband Alfredo "Freddie" Sanchez, her daughter Lisa Alessio (Neil), and her son Freddy Sanchez (Stephanie). 

Estella met Freddie at a church bazaar and one year later in 1971 they were married, Estella has kept Fred from reenlisting in the Army since 1970. In 1972 Freddie received a transfer while working for UPS and Estella, Freddie, and family picked up and moved to Albuquerque, NM. Albuquerque became Estella's home and she found a life of work at Office Max, volunteer work, and singing in a church choir.

In her retired years Estella enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, cooking, cozying up with her dogs, and most of all running errands and having lunch with Freddie. Estella's greatest joy came from watching her three Grandsons Seamas, Diego, and Cruz grow up.

Estella is preceded in death by her Father Nepumuceno, Mother Refugio, Sister Jesusita (Catuty), and Brothers Cruz, Angel, Eduardo (Lalo), and Guillermo (Willy). May she rest in peace and her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
