Obituary of Rose Lopez

Rose 'Gallegos' Lopez, age 77, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday December 28, 2012. Rose was born May 13, 1935 in Bernalillo, NM. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Joe and Mary Lou Gallegos; her brother, Gilbert Gallegos and in-laws Ben and Anita Dimas. Rose is survived by her husband of 17 years, Freddy Lopez; her son, Eddie Dimas and wife Shirley; two grandchildren, Mark Dimas and Erin Collins and her brother John Gallegos and wife Mary Alice. Rose is also survived by her in-laws, Carlos and Delia Lopez of California; step children, Carol Turjillo and Brandon, Richard Lopez and Karen, Jerry Lopez and Connie, Kathy Chavez and Alfred, Dennis Lopez and Monica and Dorothy Chavez and Richard, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. All services will be held at Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, located at 225 San Mateo Blvd., with viewing to be held on Monday, December 31, 2012 at 9:00 AM. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at 11:30 AM at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, 764-9663.
