Obituary of Theodore E Abeyta

Theodore E. Abeyta, age 89, born on March 17, 1924 in Las Vegas, NM, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 16, 2014. Mr. Abeyta served his country during WWII from 1943 to 1946. He enjoyed carpentry and retired from Lovelace Medical Center in 1989. Mr. Abeyta was preceded in death by his son, Carlos Gilbert Abeyta Sr. and grandson, Carlos Gilbert Abeyta Jr. He is survived his loving wife of 50 years, Vera M. Abeyta; two granddaughters, Vania Abeyta and Chantel Abeyta Medina and husband, Ken; and three great-grandchildren, Carlos Gilbert Abeyta III, Kenny Medina Jr., and Jerome Medina. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2014 2:30 PM at the Rio Rancho Care Center, located at 4210 Sabana Grande, Rio Rancho, NM, with Pastor Terry Conger, officiating.
