Obituary of David Earl Allen

David Earl Allen September 13, 1930 to April 10, 2007 A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Riverside Funeral Home located at 225 San Mateo. Dave passed away after a long illness. He is survived by his beloved wife, Norma (37 years); his four daughters, Debbie Allen, Cynthia Gerhardt, Lori Allen, and Jeannine Bosner. He is also survived by his three step-daughters, Lisa Dondero and Rich, Dina Phillips and Charlie, Deborah De La Rosa and Angel; his nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Dave served in the U.S. Navy during the Lorean War. He retired from American Pride Linen Co. and was employed as a greeter at the Wal-Mart Super Center on Carlisle when he became ill. He loved the outdoors, mountains, and fishing in New Mexico. The family will celebrate Dave's life at The Club House at 2901 Carlisle after the service.
