Obituary of Randy Aragon

Randy Aragon joined his father and sister in heaven on Sunday April 29, 2012. He was born December 14, 1961 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Gilbert and Crusita Aragon. A graduate of Albuquerque High School in 1979 he went on to receive his bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University Of New Mexico Anderson School Of Management and was hired by Intel shortly after. He then enjoyed a life in California where he worked for Level III Communications before settling back at home in Albuquerque. Randy was employed at The Downs of Albuquerque racetrack where he enjoyed seeing his friends and studying the racing forms. He had an infectious laugh that made his whole body shake and you could not help but join in with his laughter. He reminded his family of Robert Downey Jr. -- we had our very own Super Hero. His favorite times were spent hosting dinners for his nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Aragon, and his sister, Amada Aragon. He is survived by his mother, Crusita Aragon of Albuquerque, NM, brothers; Gilbert Aragon and wife Rosemary of Las Vegas, NV and Jon Aragon of Albuquerque, NM, sisters; Linda Lucas and husband Roger, Marian Aragon, and Debra Aragon and Tom Rudys all of Albuquerque, NM, nephews; Rhoman Aragon of Las Vegas, NV, Jordan Kingston, Jonathan Aragon, and Justin Aragon of Albuquerque, NM, nieces; Alexandra Baca and husband Joseph of El Paso, TX, Taylor Kingston and Daniel Gonzalez, and Amada Aragon of Albuquerque, NM, and numerous other relatives and friends. A service will be held at the Mount Calvary Cemetery Chapel on Friday May 4, 2012 at 10 o'clock am. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your favorite charity or a bet on the Kentucky Derby in his memory.
