Obituary of Celia C. Archuleta

Celia C. Archuleta, age 80, a lifelong resident of Los Lunas, NM, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2012. She was a member of the Los Lunas Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church. Celia worked for the Los Lunas Hospital and Training School for many years. She loved the Lord and thanked him daily for all of the blessings she received even during the most difficult days. She was a thankful person. Celia was passionate about her "Dallas Cowboys". She never missed a game. If Celia was at a family gathering we had to have the game on or make sure she was home in time to watch the game. She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Josephita Archuleta; sisters, Ramey Gabaldon, Lucille Garcia and two brothers, Benji and James Archuleta. Celia is survived by her brothers, John Archuleta and his wife Susan, Chris Archuleta, Ernesto Archuleta; sister, Nellie and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. The family would like to express their gratitude to Celia's niece Carolyn for all the love, support and care she gave Celia throughout her last few years. All services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012 at Riverside Funeral Home of Los Lunas, 820 Main St. NE beginning with a viewing at 10:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with Edwin Yroc officiating. Celia will be laid to rest following the service at the Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Regina Gabaldon, Glen Gabaldon, Chris Archuleta, Michael Lutgen, Carolyn Lutgen and Hannah Lutgen. Honorary pallbearers will be John Archuleta and Lorenzo Sanchez.
