Obituary of Richard Z Armijo

Richard Z. Armijo, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on February 24, 1930 and was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. Richard was a private contract painter who also retired from Albuquerque Public Schools and the US Forest Service. When Richard was not working or taking care of his family, you could find him at one of the local Casino's contributing to the wealth of the tribe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Epifanio G. Armijo and Maria Elena Armijo as well as six of his siblings. Richard is survived by his wife, Mary Armijo; sons, Richard, Enrico, Eric Armijo and his wife Desiree; daughters, Mary Candelaria and husband Joseph and Monica Salazar and husband Angelo; 17 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday October 25, 2012 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Church at 6:30PM. A Rosary will follow at 7:00 PM. Funeral Service will celebrated on Friday October 26, 2012 at 11:00 AM, also at Queen of Heaven Church. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
