Obituary of Joe L Arrellin

Joe L. Arrellin, age 70, a resident of Albuquerque went home to his Heavenly Father on Monday, March 17, 2014. He was born November 25, 1943 in Vaughn, NM to Atanacio and Frances Arrellin. Joe married the love of his life, Maria, on June 20, 1963. He served his country in the US Navy and was a Viet Nam Veteran. Joe retired after 26 years of service in retail grocery. He is survived by his wife, Maria and their six children, Lisa, Joe, Rita, Phillip, Veronica and Ramona; his brother, Anselmo; 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild. A Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 6:00 PM at Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque with the recitation of the Holy Rosary to follow at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Friday, March 21, 2014 at The Shrine of Saint Bernadette Church, located at 11401 Indian School Road, Albuquerque, NM. At Joe's request cremation will take place. The family would like to extend an invitation to join them in fellowship with a reception following the service.
