Obituary of William \ Center

Center, William "Bill", was born in San Francisco CA, on June 8, 1932. Bill has gone on to be with his beloved wife of 51 years, Lizzie Center, on April 22, 2012. Bill Center served our country in the U.S. Air Force, then went on to work for the Government as a fleet mechanic with the GSA Motor Pool. All those who knew Bill knew him as a hard-working, kind, and generous man who always thought of others before himself. Bill had earned a Second Degree Black Belt in Judo and had been a member of Sandia Judo Club. Bill is survived by his son, Billy Center; daughter, Joan Marentes; granddaughter, Yvette Marentes; grandson, Eric Marentes and great granddaughter, Elizabeth "Lilly" Marentes. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, located at 1900 Edith Blvd N.E., on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the homeless shelter of your choice. Dad, you were the best man I've ever known and you will be greatly missed. We love you forever.
