Obituary of Rodger Dreier

Rodger Dreier, age 79, passed at home on Monday, December 12, 2011. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 20, 1932. Rodger served 4 years in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He retired from Mountain Bell in 1986 and was a member with Poco Quatros Model A Ford Club for 48 years. Rodger was also a member of St. John's Cathedral in Albuquerque and he volunteered with Sunday school. He was also the head usher for St. Francis in Rio Rancho, New Mexico for 10 years. Rodger did volunteer work for 4 years at Storehouse West and was a dedicated music lover who operated the music session with Dick DeFore at the Meadowlark Senior Center in Rio Rancho. Rodger is survived by his wife of 26 years Claudette; son, Mitch; sister, Dianne Popkie; his stepchildren; grandchildren; great- grandchildren; nieces; nephews; many brother and sister-in-laws and his close friends of 40 years, TJ and Melba Anderson. Cremation will take place and a celebration of Rodger's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Riverside Funeral of Albuquerque, 225 San Mateo NE.
