Obituary of Barry Du Tant

Barry du Tant, age 78, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013. Barry was born November 19, 1935 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Charles Henry du Tant and Christine James du Tant. He moved to Taos, New Mexico as a child and graduated from Santa Fe High School. Barry served in the United States Air Force and worked for many years in New York City. He loved languages and spoke several fluently. Barry enjoyed photography, drawing, eating out with friends, and listening to big band and jazz music. He is survived by his sister, Margot du Tant Paisley (Sam) of Zanesville, Ohio; two nephews, Frank Paisley and Matthew Paisley; aunt, Charlene De Yong of Oklahoma and many cousins, and friends. Barry will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place, and Barry will be laid to rest at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 3:00 PM.
