Obituary of Louis Ewing

Louis Ewing "Bub", 88, born September 11, 1924 and a beloved Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather passed away peacefully on February 18, 2013 at his home. He was proceeded in death by his mother Katie Weston. Mr. Ewing is survived by his 5 children; Robert Ewing and wife, Hilda, Tony Ewing and wife, Shirley, Paul Ewing and wife, Josie, Evelyn Ewing-Lujan and husband, Gilbert, and Lawrence Ewing. After he raised his 5 children he raised 3 more children; Steven Garcia, Angelica Ewing-Sanchez and husband, Phil and Lisa Ewing-Moreno and husband, Eddie. Mr. Ewing is survived by 12 grand children and 25 great grandchildren. Mr. Ewing was veteran of the United States Marines and served during World War II in both Iwo Jima and Midway. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. Final visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Church with a Communion Service to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. A 1:30 p.m. Committal Service will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Garcia, Paul Ewing, Brandon Ewing, Lawrence Ewing Jr., Tony Ewing and Eddie Gallegos. Honorary Pallbearers will be Eddie, Phil, Abel, Monte, Mike and Jonathan.
