Obituary of Aiko Ono Foster

Aiko Ono Foster, age 81, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Aiko was born on March 26, 1933 in Kumamoto, Japan. Mrs. Foster met and married Ralph Foster during his tours in Korea while he was in the Army. Mrs. Foster is survived by her husband Ralph; oldest daughter, June and husband Ed Shaffer, Olympia WA; daughter, Sally Walton, Los Lunas NM; daughter, Thelma and husband Rick Vanhooser, Springfield, MO; and youngest daughter, Ellen Foster and significant other, Allan Emerson, Los Lunas NM; 4 grandsons and 3 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Foster was a dedicated homemaker, loving mother and wife, as well as a professional seamstress. Anyone that met her loved her instantly. She will be missed.
