Obituary of Javier Mario Garcia

Javier Mario Garcia, age 32, Texas born, Albuquerque native Javier passed away the evening of October 8th doing his favorite thing in the world, riding his bike. Javier was born June 21st, 1980 in Corpus Christi TX to Mario and Ramona Garcia. Javi was the youngest of three boys who towered over him in height, but never in spirit. From an early age he faced the world with a fearless vision and a pure and utter joy of life. From soccer to rock climbing to road/mountain cycling Javier seemed to always be looking for another way to share a sport with his family and friends. Javi had moved to Albuquerque as very first contract as a traveling nurse, but within the first 3 months of his adventure he fell madly in-love with this city. He spent the last 4 years at Heart Hospital ICU and recently accepted a position at UNM Hospital Trauma Surgical Burn TSI ICU. He has always had a knack for making an instant family where ever he was and his amazing impression on people has become self-evident, as we are showered with love and support from so, so many. Condolences can be sent to 2011 Ruth Circle, Alice Texas, 78332. We'll be celebrating his life and spreading his ashes on Tuesday October 16th at Coyote Trail Head at 4:30pm.
