Obituary of Sophie Garcia

GARCIA---Sophie Garcia, 69, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2012. Miss Garcia was born in Albuquerque, NM on April 19, 1943 to the late Antonio Garcia and Eumelia Lopez Garcia and was the granddaughter of the late Jose B. Lopez and Beneranda Trujillo Lopez. Miss Lopez is survived by her son, David Angel Garcia; sisters, Delu (Mary) Puentes and husband, Joe, Sylvia Barbosa and Patty, Maria Jo Drury and husband, Robert of Orlando, Fla., Faye Anzures, Jeannette Sanchez, and Bernice Abeyta and husband, Will; brothers, Phil Garcia and wife, Gloria and George Sandoval and wife, Lynn; stepbrother, Freddy Lucero and wife, Clara; uncles, Julian Lopez, Orlando Lopez and wife, Juanita, and Salomon Romero; aunts, Maria del Carmen Lopez Martin and Jolanda Lopez; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family member, and friends. Miss Garcia retired from Duke City Lumber and loved Wheel of Fortune and would refuse phone calls while it was on.
