Obituary of Primitivo Gonzales

Primitivo Joe Gonzales, 65, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014. He was born September 28, 1948 to Albert and Augustina Gonzales in Las Vegas, N.M. Mr. Gonzales was preceded in death by his father, Albert Gonzales; mother, Augustina Gonzales; great granddaughter Melia. Joe was loved and respected by everyone he had ever met. He was always there to lend a hand, and help in any way he can. Always had a smile on his face, and a new joke to tell. There was not a selfish bone in his body. He has left us all with a big hole in our heart, but wonderful memories that will never fade. He will be missed dearly by all. Mr. Gonzales is survived by his wife, Maria Crucita Gonzales; his sons, Joseph Gonzales & wife Tina Arguello, Albert Gonzales & wife Connie, Tim Gonzales & wife Bernadette; grandchildren, Edward, Melida, Monique, Miranda, Estevan, Timothy Jr.; great – grandchildren, Edward Jr., Elijah, Maximus, Jayden, Jaylia; brother, Antonio Gonzales and his wife Anabelle; sisters, Julia Gonzales and her companion Ruben Parra, Dolores Ortiz and her companion Leroy Maestas, Anna Gonzales; half-brothers, Albert Gonzales, Estevan Gonzales; half-sister, Jenny Vigil; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. A viewing will take place on Wednesday March 5, 2014 beginning at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, 225 San Mateo, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. Final Viewing will take place on Thursday March 6, 2014 beginning at 8:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 403 Valencia Street, Las Vegas, New Mexico. Mass of Christian burial will be held Celebrated at 9:00am also at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the San Jose Cemetery on Piñon Avenue, Las Vegas, NM. I remember everything about you, your voice, your smile, your touch, the way you walked, the way you talked, the way you looked at me, meant so much. I remember all the words you said to me, some funny, some kind, some wise, all of the things you did for me, I see now with different eyes. I remember every moment we shared, seems like only yesterday, or maybe it was eons ago, It's really hard to say. You are gone from me now, but one thing they can't take away, your memory resides inside my heart, and lights up my darkest days.
