Obituary of Floyd E Harrell

Floyd E. Harrell, age 74, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born September 8, 1939 in Portsmouth, Virginia. Floyd was a resident of Albuquerque for most his life where he retired from the Albuquerque Journal Newspaper after 32 years in2009. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his mother-in-law, Mary Sanchez; one son, Charles (Chuck); two brothers, Jimmy and Richard; one sister, Maggie; two grandsons; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends, Jim Goad and Mike Chavez, as well as special friends, the Apodaca family, Yvonne (Toots) Apodaca and his special pet dog, Chickie. At Floyd's request, cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at San Jose Catholic Church, located at 2401 Broadway Blvd SE, in Albuquerque, NM.
