Obituary of Monica Harrison

Monica Harrison, a resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013. She was born August 20, 1939 in San Pedro, New Mexico to Jose and Emena Montoya. Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Nicanor Gallegos and granddaughter, Denelia Maestas. She is survived by her loving husband, Stanley Harrison of the family home; her daughter, Daisy Sheila Cornelison and husband Marty; stepchildren, Deborah, Myra and James; her brother, Joe A. Montoya and wife Viola; her sisters, Helen Salazar and husband Alex, Maxine Ramirez, Janette Ramirez and Husband Ralph and Therese Maestas and husband Bengy; special grandchildren, James Maestas, Elaine Cordova and husband Josh Cornelison Jr., and Eric Cornelison; 20 grandchildren and great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, loving friends and neighbors. All services will be held on Thursday October 3, 2013, beginning with a viewing at 1:00 PM, at Trinity at the Marketplace Church, located at 2520 Chama NE in Albuquerque. Funeral service will be celebrated at 2:00 PM with Fr. Harold Trott officiating. Serving the family as pallbearers will be James Maestas and Jr. Cornelison, James Harrison, Josh Cordova, Alex Salazar and Ralph Ramirez.
