Obituary of Felipita Herrera

Herrera, Felipita, age 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 24, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM with her daughter Diane and granddaughter Natalie by her side. Mrs. Herrera was born on July 2, 1934 in Cuba, NM to Frederico and Isabel Valdez. Mrs. Herrera is preceded in death by her loving husband, Zebedeo Herrera; parents, Frederico and Isabel Valdez; brothers, Rubel and Mauricio Valdez; sister, Lucy Valdez. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Herrera; granddaughter, Natalie Martinez; brothers, Leonard and Raymond Valdez, wife Betty; sisters, Catalina Whisenhunt, Rosalie Fielding, Mildred Atencio, husband Felix; sister, Marcella Valdez. A visitation will take place on Monday March 3, 2014 at 10:00 am with the recitation of the Holy Rosary to follow at 11:00 am and Funeral Service at 11:30 am, all at the Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque Chapel.
