Obituary of John R Herron

Herron, John R. Big John, age 80, born May 23, 1932 and a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012. Mr. Herron lived in Farmington, NM for twenty two years running his business, SW Guttering, before retiring to join his family in Albuquerque, NM. He served with the United States Air Force and was stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Herron was preceded in death by his mother, Mae McDonald. He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Fern Herron; children, John Bergamo and wife, Bobbie, Bobbie Ray and husband, Mark, and Nina Surlock and husband, Eddie; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Jake Holliday; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Riverside Funeral Home Chapel, located at 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 1:00 PM with Pastor David Goodnight officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, 764-9663.
