Obituary of Janice Faith Jones

Janice Faith Jones went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 21, 2013 at her home in Belen, New Mexico. Jan was born April 11, 1943 in Pratt, Kansas. Jan graduated from South High School in Wichita, Kansas in 1961. On September 20, 1969 she married Steven H. Jones of Wichita, Kansas. In 1974 the family moved to Billings, MT where they raised their two children and operated B.W. Jones & Sons School Bus business. Jan loved spending time with her grandchildren and her many friends. Jan's grandchildren and great grandchild were one of the most important loves in her life. In her spare time she would cross-stitch and stay busy in the kitchen. In her later years she enjoyed the many people she met while campground hosting in the Custer National Forest in Red Lodge, Montana. While in Montana Jan was involved with the Shepherd Bible Church in Shepherd, Montana and made many great friends there. In 2010, Steve and Jan moved to Belen, New Mexico to build a new home and enjoy the sunshine. Jan was blessed by the community of neighbors that became her good friends in Belen. Jan attended and served at Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley in Belen where once again she was loved by many. She was preceded in death by her parents Rueben Peil and Ila Campbell. Jan is survived by her husband Steve Jones of 43 years; son Dale Jones and wife Valerie Jones; daughter Angela Jones; granddaughters Jenna Jones Smith, Olivia Jones and grandson Grant Jones; great granddaughter Jaden Smith; sister Patty Campbell; brothers Fred Peil, Mitch Peil, Bobby Campbell and Randy Campbell. A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley in Belen, NM at 10:30 AM Wednesday August 28, 2013. Meet and greet at 10:00 AM. A second Memorial Service will be held at the Shepherd Bible Church in Shepherd, Montana at 10:30 AM Saturday September 7, 2013.
