Obituary of Douglas R Kawcak

Douglas Kawcak, age 59, passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family after a short bout with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Glennwood Springs CO., February 22, 1954. Douglas was raised in Albuquerque and graduated from Del Norte High in 1972. He loved the great outdoors, rock music and playing basketball. His passions were adventures of snowmobiling, the speed of his stand up Jet Ski and the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle. He was blessed with an amazing ability to work with his hands, visualize, plan and bring to life every project he put his mind to. Douglas is preceded in death by his mother, Blanche Lou Kawcak; brother, Robert Kawcak and grandmother, Julia Kawcak. He is survived by the love of his life for 30 years, his wife, Sabrina; father, Paul Kawcak; brothers, Terry and Kurt; sister, Connie; numerous aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces; nephews; very special niece, Shannon; family of in-laws; devoted best friend, Terry; and his beloved pets, Angie, Chooch and Patches. He will deeply be missed and will be forever in our hearts.
