Obituary of Donald Gene Kuntzelman

Kuntzelman, Donald Gene, age 85, was born September 15, 1927 and passed away August 21, 2013 at his residence in Rio Rancho, NM. Mr. Kuntzelman was preceded in death by his parents, Cletus and Norvella "Billie" Kuntzelman; brothers, Cletus Jr., Jerry, Sonny, and Robert; sisters, Betty Lou and Barbara. Mr. Kuntzelman is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Tersela Kuntzelman; brothers, Harold "Butch" Kuntzelman and wife, Judy, Theodore "Ted" Kuntzelman, Ronnie Kuntzelman and James "Jim" Kuntzelman and wife, Carol; sisters, Dorothy Gene "Dee Dee" Hartje and Sandra "Sandy" Kuntzelman. Children, Beatrice Martinez and husband, Matthew, Elia Torres and companion, Antonio Romero, Edward Torres and wife, Michelle and Roy Torres and wife, Tina; grandchildren, Dominica & Gerard Hernandez, Michael Chavez Jr., Monique & Ray Lovato, Vernon Harris, Genevie Harris, Carl Harris, Kenneth Torres, Amanda Torres and Keith Torres; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Xavier, Alexis, Araceli, Bennie, Emma, Joseph, Jared, Emmah & Tessah; numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and friends. A viewing will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in the Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque with a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. in the Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque Chapel. Pallbearers will be Elijah Hernandez, Gerard Hernandez, Roy Torres, Edward Torres, Ray Lovato and Michael Chavez Jr. Honorary Pallbearer will be Xavier Hernandez. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery with full military honors accorded by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
