Obituary of Patricia \ Lassard

Patricia "Elaine" Lassard, age 60, a resident of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 15, 2012 after her short battle with cancer. She was known for her compassion for others, including her family, friends and her cats. Elaine was a cook for many years and was the best at what she did. She loved, and was loved by everyone she came in contact with and always took the time to make you laugh. Elaine was preceded in death by her father, Thurman "Cooter" Davis Sr. and her mother, Florence June Hobbs. She is survived by her three children, Jeffery Lassard and his wife Sharon of Los Lunas, NM, Barbara Lassard of Raleigh, NC and John Joseph Lassard of Wilmington, NC; sisters, Frances Rouse and her husband Burnice of Jacksonville, NC and Virginia "Jenny" Henderson and her husband Ron of Rossville, GA and her brother Thurman "Butch" Davis Jr. of Sneads Ferry, NC. Elaine loved and treasured her five grandbabies, Amber, Morgan, Tyler, Dylan and Isaac. They will miss their Mimmie greatly and she will always be their angel. She will also be missed by uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws and many, many friends. Elaine's family extends a special thank you to Jeremy Edens, R.W. Everette, Phylis Ramsey and Terry Wyckoff for being a special part of her life and helping in her time of need.
