Obituary of Mary Agnes LeDoux

Mary Agnes LeDoux, born in Trinidad Colorado on March 21, 1929 to Jesus C Valdez and Dolores Valdez, was called home to Jesus on November 8, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eloy; sisters, Beatrice Passarelli (John), Delfina Gallegos, Dolores Ortega and brother Sonny Valdez. She leaves behind a sister, Pricilla Johnson; three brothers, George, Daniel and Jim Valdez; three children, Linda Beasley (Jon), Anita Valeria (Paul) and Christopher LeDoux; one granddaughter, Racheal Valerio whom she always referred to as my little girl; a great grandson on the way as well as many nieces and nephews. Mary and Eloy were married on Valentine's Day in 1949 and resided in Raton, NM for several years before moving to Albuquerque for better job opportunities in the Post Office. They adopted their two daughters and later their grandson. Mary was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She always strove to be the best she could be in any role that she took on. Her most important accomplishment was to teach her children about the Lord Jesus leading the way by her example. She spent many years as a member of Gods People of Praise prayer group now known as Glory Christian Fellowship. Her later years were spent living at the Brookdale retirement community where she was well loved by many of the residents and staff there. She was known for her sense of humor and cute little sayings. She was also known for her fondness of root-beer floats and enjoyed them daily. Mary surely will be missed by all who loved her and we look forward to the day when we will be re-united in heaven. Thanks to all who participated in the celebration of Mary's life. God Bless you. Arrangements entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE, (505)764-9663.
