Obituary of Melito \ Marino

Melito Mel Marino age 82, passed away at home peacefully on Friday, November 22, 2013. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed. Melito served in the military in 1952 to 1953, he worked for the United States Postal Service for 32 years as our neighborhood mailman, and enjoyed retirement for 27 years. Melito was an involved member of Queen of Heaven parish serving as an usher. He enjoyed bowling, football, playing cards, the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and driving on the highway when going on vacations. Melito lived life to the fullest and had a wonderful sense of humor which he shared with all of his family. He is survived by his wife, Nina; his children, Joe, Richard and his wife Pam and Gale and her husband, Mike; his grandchildren, Nadia and her husband, Anthony, Joshlyn, Lawrence and Renee; his great grandchildren, Tristan and Benjamin and sisters Teresa Gallegos and her husband Eddie and Georgia Baca. Services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Queen of Heaven at 11:30 AM. A reception will follow and location will be announced at the service.
